A website is a series of related web pages that share a common domain
name and are linked by a series of hyperlinks. Websites can be
built directly on a server or built on a personal computer and
"published" to a web server.
A "brochure" type website is one that displays static pages and does
not require a web application or web database.
A "data driven" website is one where the web pages are dynamically
using created using data that is stored in tables or files. The
advantage of a data driven website is ease of maintenance.
