There are two possible ways to create a website.  They are:

1. Server based creation approach
2. Client based creation approach

Server based Web Creation Approach

This method is to use simple cloud-based software to create a website.

This option is simple, fast and inexpensive. There is no need to purchase or install software, however, the resulting website is typically unsophisticated and inflexible.

The website content is created and stored on the server computer owned by a web hosting company. In short, this is the process:

1. Find a web hosting service that provides site creation software.
2. Use their web creator application on their server to design and generate your website.
3. Purchase a domain name and "point" it to your new website.

Client based Web Creation Approach

This option can be more complex and costly but the solution is often more flexible, portable and functional.

In short, the process is as follows:

1. Purchase and install web creation software on your computer.
2. Create a website on your hard drive.
3. Lease web hosting services for a web hosting company.
4. Publish your website to the their web server.
