Web Browser

A Web Browser is a computer program that is used to display web pages and interact with websites.  Popular browsers include Chrome, Internet Explorer (IE) Firefox and Safari.

There are browser applications for both desktop computers and mobile devices.  They are designed to work with specific operating systems (e.g. Windows, iOS, Androd).

Web Browsers communicate with Web Servers using a communication protocol called HyperText Transport Protocol or HTTP.
